Works well, but it needs a usb connection. Had to buy an adapter to make it work with my laptop.

This OBD reader works exactly as described and is easy to use. I have used it twice already, saving me untold dollars at the repair shop. The only suggestion, it would have been nice if it had a USB connection to the computer instead of an outdated serial port but a good quality converter was only about $35 to resolve this issue.

I'm very satisfied with the unit. It works as described and its very easy to use. Recently my engine light went on. I pluged the scanner in and found a problem code to be coming from the o2 sensor after the catalytic.
After further review I found it to be minor exhaust leak.
In a previous instance I was able to reset the light.

Paid for itself the first time I hooked it up. Cleaned the EGR ports, reset the error lamp and it runs like new.
